HNF requires Readers' Editors

[Position is Purely Voluntary]

In order to ensure transparency and quality of journalism, the purely issue based news portal

HotnHitNews.com

invites Readers and Senior Journalists who have interest in ‘News Analysis and Scrutiny’ to join us as Volunteer Editors in our panel of Readers’ Editors.

The Volunteer Editors are to suggest with necessary feedback on the content published in HotnHitNews.com and, in some cases, modify/ approve news content for publication keeping in view the moral and ethical principles and guideline. Whenever necessary, the Volunteer Readers’ Editors will also reply to the comments/ feedback of the readers.

People from all parts of India are invited. However, only a few will be chosen as Volunteer Readers' Editors to form a panel.

The guiding principles of Team HNF

1. • Journalist must believe that the basic purpose of journalism is to provide people with the information* they need to be empowered and Self-governing.

2. • Journalist must be obliged to the truth and loyal to the citizens and the Nation.

3. • Journalist must maintain independence from any kind of bias – be it individual or circumstantial.

4. • Journalist must serve as an independent monitor of society, administration and power.

5. • Journalist must not impose his/ her own opinion on the News and People.

6. • Journalist must respect accuracy.

7. • Journalist must exercise his/ her personal conscience while reporting and presenting the news.

* Information, as we at HNF define, is the pure information confirmed through thorough verification and authentication by a valid source. Always name the source of information except, only, in cases where the source desires genuine anonymity without any vested interest and/ or vicious intent. No rumour or speculation should be presented as information, even if it looks quite obvious, without thorough cross verification and authentication as slightest of irresponsibility would finally make it a fatal misinformation and a blunder in the name of journalism.

Always remember, our constitution grants us the 'Right to Free Speech' but no right to misinform people in the name of free speech.

HNF Principles of Reporting and Content Production

1. Accuracy

The information should be pure confirming the reality and not in any way be misleading or false. Information must be thoroughly crosschecked and presented in the news with a disciplined use of Visuals, Language and Production Techniques.

2. Integrity

The information must be truth based, and not distorted or interpreted to justify a preconceived conclusion or based upon any kind of affiliation or personal bias.

3. Fairness

News must report relevant facts, information and significant points of view and deal fairly and ethically with persons, institutions, issues and events.

HNF EDITORIAL POLICY STATEMENT

We strongly emphasize on "Pure information", "Originality" and "Authenticity" in all our News and Feature content.

We strongly condemn all/ any kind of unethical practice in the name of Journalism like use of unauthorised Content, violation of Intellectual Property Right Act and all/any kind of immoral and unlawful act while producing/ presenting News and Features.

We promote investigative Journalism but seriously discourage all and any kind of sensational approach in reporting and presentation of News.

a. All content published in hotnhitnews.com are protected by copyright and Intellectual Property Rights Act.

b. Reproduction of content in any form must be on approval of the Editor/ Publisher only.

c. Reproduction of content, after mandatory approval, must guarantee due credit to the Author of the content and Source i.e., hotnhitnews.com.
